Dr. Codori provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups, ages 13 and older. A general practitioner, her areas of expertise include the treatment of couple and marital distress, including infidelity, and mood disorders, such as depression and bipolar disorder. Her treatment approach combines techniques drawn from the cognitive-behavioral, emotion-focused and interpersonal methods, with treatment tailored to the individual. Dr. Codori received her doctorate from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 1990. She completed a pre-doctoral Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine and a post-doctoral Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry, Division of Medical Psychology. On the faculty at Johns Hopkins, she conducted psychological research in populations at-risk for hereditary disease. Although currently in full-time private practice Dr. Codori retains a part-time appointment in The Division of Medical Psychology at Johns Hopkins. |
